Set in the outside, amidst the wood near the parochial church of St. Sirus, this creche is composed of several buildings, in perfect proportions on a reduced scale, among which it is possible to walk on pathways of cobblestones . The crib presents pictures of everyday life of peasants and mountain dwellers, with typical Ligurian rural houses. In addition, there are also other constructions that recall the traditional representation of the Nativity. For example the inn (where Mary and Joseph did not find lodging), crowded with customers in eastern costumes and with their camels. Or the medieval castle, build with great refinement both outside and inside, a detail that has little to do with the Palestinian environment, but it is a common element to many traditional cribs. The entire scenary is gracefully set into the natural environment, and well deserves to be described as "the crib in the forest".
